We approach every job with, the same no compromise attitude toward achieving a perfect finish.
Should we feel that the standard of work presented to us prior to painting is not up to standard and as a consequence we are not confident that we can produce a quality finished job, we will tell you.
Put simply, we will not complain at the end of the job that the substrates were not up to standard.
We have painted a lot of new build property and have learned the hard way that approaching this work is all about planning.
The most common mistake made by painters is to go in too early on site. Other trades will delay progress and damage finished paintwork, it would be impossible for them not to. The disgruntled painters will now go looking for “extras”, usually without any joy, and now the painting job is on a downward spiral.
We do not get into this predicament because we will not start the work until it is ready.
This requires a fair amount of trust from the main contractor in their painting contractors’ ability to bring the job in on time, but it’s the best way to achieve first class finished work and a happy relationship between the main contractor and the painting subcontractor.
